  • the Catering Department is looking to recruit a Cook on a permanent basis to work 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time plus an additional 34 days during the School holidays
  • due to the number of events held after school and at weekends, there would be a requirement for the role holder to work at least two evenings and two weekend days every 6 weeks as overtime
  • the main duties will be to assist in the preparation, cooking and service of food throughout the foundation, using their ability to produce nutritious, economical and well-presented meals, whilst ensure a high level of hygiene is maintained in all areas of work
  • the successful candidate will be methodical and organised in their approach to work and have the ability to work unsupervised and calmly under pressure
