we are looking to recruit a Shift Supervisor to supervise shift personnel and preparation and break down of products for heat treatment, furnace operation and trouble shooting
ensure that the work place is kept clean and tidy at all times
responsible for the supervision of shift personnel in the preparation of work and the team performance to ensure that all production requirements are met during their relevant shifts
use of computer based control systems to assist in the processing and performance of furnaces. Also to be used for daily communication through email, shift handover and production reports where required
comply with all relevant SHE systems that are in place and promote specific topics through tool box talks as well as use of the SHE Observation cards

expert Knowledge of Heat Treatment in accordance with the sites processes is fundamentally necessary: Carburizing, Hardening and Tempering of ferrous material
