IM EMEA - Event Manager - 12 month FTC maternity cover London
Overview With moderate guidance, coordinates and executes assigned elements of Corporate/LOB events in accordance with the standards of quality, excellence and cost control established for Corporate/LOB events groups. Strong communication and project management skills required. This position requires some travel and off hours/weekend work when needed.Coordinates a limited variety of business events, elements of which include, but are not limited to agenda development, preparation and proofing of written/graphic materials, vendor/site research, contract negotiation, expense management, food and beverage selection, audio visual management and budget tracking.Demonstrates working knowledge of event industry trends and competitive activities.Works closely with the host of the project to develop the event profile (goal, responsibilities, budgets, timelines, etc.) scheduling the date of the event, securing venues, negotiating contracts, planning and coordinating the event and frequently providing on-site management of the event.Works cooperatively with internal resources to support activities.
