Responsibility
- BMR are a main contractor based in the south east
- we deliver large parts of our work using local labour to our sites
- parking available on site
- 1st Fix carpentry including construction of new parapet walls in plywood
- 1st fix carpentry including felt and batten work left ready to receive Zinc cladding by others
- 1st fix general work such as metal studwork, sanitaryware grounds
- 1st and 2nd fix work including fitting fire door frames, ironmongery and doors
- 2nd fix trimming out - skirting architraves and the like
Requirements
- proven experience as a carpenter
- proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and methods
- ability to read drawings
- competent in understanding of safety procedures and precautions in construction. CSCS preferred
- good physical condition with the ability to perform heavy lifting
- construction: 8 years
- carpentry: 4 years
