being the key point of contact for all queries related to the Education team
tracking articles from submission to final decision; handling presubmission enquiries, identifying delays and contacting authors and reviewers to ensure timely publication
handling a range of queries from editors, authors, and reviewers, and escalating them as appropriate
you will be responsible for reviewing and editing Best Practice topic updates
work closely with the Editorial Coordinator to ensure journal workflows are efficient and tasks are prioritised effectively
overseeing and tracking manuscripts from submission to publication

Requirements
A degree level qualification in a bioscience or clinical/healthcare subject is essential
relevant editorial experience in a publishing office environment, ideally STM
A degree level qualification
A relevant postgraduate qualification and/or experience in an STM publishing environment would be an advantage
experience in an STM publishing environment
experience using the Scholar One submission system, Google Workspace, and Trello would be beneficial, but not essential
meticulous attention to detail and the ability to engage with medical content
