Responsibility

  • perform tree maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming, and shaping trees
  • remove dead or hazardous branches and trees
  • operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • operate a wood chipper
  • assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as hedge cutting & strimming
  • use hand tools to perform various tasks related to tree care
  • ensure the safety of yourself, team members, and the public while working

Requirements

  • previous experience in tree care or related field preferred but not essential
  • knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and pruning techniques useful
  • ability to operate power tools and equipment safely
  • familiarity with landscape maintenance practices
  • strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus
