Responsibility
- we have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Mechanical Project Manager within our Install Department
- attending site meetings carrying out site surveys, site inspections and client pre-construction/progress meetings
- overseeing of pre-construction design
- working on the LPCB Supervision process, including uploading, and answering comments
- blue Shield is a fully accredited and long-established company, being a member of the British Automatic Fire Sprinkler Association, the Fire Protection Association, and the British Safety Council
- familiar with BSEN 12845 and Technical Bulletins
- we have worked in a multitude of sectors and industries, supplying fire protection systems to many of the biggest names on the UK high street, plus numerous government, and manufacturing organisations
- liaise closely with the sales, design, and projects teams
Requirements
- minimum 3-5 years’ experience project management experience working in the Commercial Sprinkler M&E sector
- SMSTS or equivalent
- LPCB Basic Design Competence Review
- LPCB Intermediate Design Competence Review
- LPCB FHC Design Competence Review
- valid UK Driving License
- familiarity with AutoCAD & 3D packages also encouraged
- excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
