Responsibility

  • ideally, you will have an excellent track record of managing busy kitchens with a small-team
  • the Blue Lagoon Cafe Bar, at the heart of Bristol's infamous independent Gloucester Road district, is seeking a confident, experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team
  • the food must have a fresh-focus and the right candidate will have the opportunity to implement their own ideas on the menu
  • job Types: Permanent, Full-time
  • you will be joining us at our favourite time of year as we say goodbye to winter and get ready for the summer period, serving good food and tropical cocktails! We are famous for our day-into-night good-vibes - reggae, rum-a-plenty, live music every night and a whole lot of energy
  • the Blue Lagoon has a steady breakfast and brunch trade between 8:30am and 4:30pm and provides good scope for serving street-food inspired small plates in the evenings with a strong emphasis on sharing, alongside a creative burger menu
