- planning and pricing of asbestos removal or otherwise remedial work
- writing plans of work, specifications of work. Vetting and quality control checking others method statements and plans of work
- site and removal team management to ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget
- assist in managing Asbestos Contracts - ensuring delivery of services in a timely manner, maintaining contractor relationship and quality standards
- quality monitoring and auditing of removal works where necessary together with the Compliance Manager
- working with Blue A Subcontractors to price remedial work or reinstatement projects
- assist to ensure that all information systems are appropriately maintained so that colleagues have access to relevant and up to date information together with the Compliance Manager
- support the organisations requirement to Manage Asbestos for its clients and fulfilling its obligations alongside the rest of the project management team
Requirements
- minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior asbestos role
- computer literacy in MS Office
- prepared to commute to and from jobs in the South/East
- experience with the use of Visio for drawings
- commercially aware
- valid UK driving licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience and ability to travel
- excellent managerial and time management skills
- asbestos: 5 years
