- assist residents with their daily personal care needs, respecting their dignity, independence, and preferences
- promote and support individuals in participating in a wide range of activities to enhance their physical and mental well-being
- develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and the care team
- administer medication in accordance with care plans and ensure accurate record-keeping
- support residents with their mobility, including transfers and using mobility aids
- assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for residents
- ensure the safty of the people we support and the environment
- uphold principles of Mental Capacity, choice, and consent
Requirements
- compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for caring for individuals with disabilities
- ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS check
- no prior experience necessary as full training will be provided
- A commitment to continuous personal and professional development
