Requirements

  • ● Registered Managers Award/NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Management
  • ● Relevant management qualification
  • ● Worked within a multidisciplinary framework
  • ● Care for Children- Enrich the lives of young people in our care, helping them create a positive future
  • ● Minimum of 2 years in a management position within residential care of children in the last 5 years
  • ● Therapeutic work with young people
  • ● Worked within Ofsted inspection framework

Responsibility

  • ● Ensure the health and safety of children,staff and visitors, by complying with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
  • ● Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented fully and adhered to to meet legal obligations
  • ● Ensure that any repairs or damage to the property or belongings of the organisation are reported and that necessary action is taken to ensure the safety of the young people
  • ● Support the Registered Manager to ensure the home provides a positive physical environment, with regard to design, comfort and homeliness as well as hygiene and cleanliness
