The employees are on the whole really lovely and genuine people. I have never met a better bunch of people. However the company itself is not such a good place to work. If you are one of the "elites" you tend to do nicely for yourself but if you are one of the "workers" it is alot of work for little money. They tout how good they are to their employees but the salaries for the majority of staff are not at all competitive. This leads to older staff leaving and only the juniors stay on. Its good to have junior staff but then they don't get the training or mentorship they need because there are not enough older people. In fact in their recent redundancies of almost 60 staff most of those that went were older more experienced people. Bloomsbury corporate does a lot of talk but in my experience little of any actual value to the staff that work there. If you are young and looking to get a foot in the door so to speak it would be worthwhile but if you are more experienced I wouldn't bother. You will be run ragged for little compensation.
