Responsibility
- to demonstrate Passion, Quality and Respect in all aspects of the role
- to provide intensive, one to one emotional support where appropriate
- the post holder will provide direct support to children and their families. The role will support improved collaboration between agencies, driving forward best practice around the carers agenda and children/families legislation
- to provide awareness raising and information sessions for professionals
- to maintain an effective database and accurate records for young carers and information relating to them
- based at Blackpool Carers as an integral part of the Young Carers Team working within the community, including schools and other education settings, identifying young carers and their families who require support
- to provide verbal and written reports as required, including statistical data and qualitative feedback to demonstrate that the aims and objectives of the project are being met
- attend and participate as required in health, statutory and voluntary sector groups, events or meetings
