Responsibility
- review architectural drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates for metalwork projects
- analyse project requirements and identify necessary materials, equipment, and labour costs
- work closely with our design team to ensure accurate and timely estimates
- collaborate with our production team to ensure that estimates are feasible and meet project timelines
- prepare detailed reports and summaries of estimates for project managers and clients
- maintain accurate records of estimates and project costs
- attend estimating and pre-contract meetings as required
- chair handover meetings passing secured projects to our production team
