- audit Monitoring and DCIM platforms to ensure that all network and datacentre device information is recorded and reporting accurately
- configure monitoring for new sites, and archive/remove stale records
- optimise current monitoring and alerting tools
- audit network device admin credentials and update as required
- produce technical and end user documentation
- work with the business to facilitate change control and end-user communication regarding transition work
- handover of technical solutions to the operations team, including initial support during the transition
- assist with other network and security projects as required
Requirements
- proven experience working with Solarwinds NPM and DCTrack DCIM
- good working knowledge of Cisco routing, switching and firewalls
- experience working with vendors and telecoms providers
- knowledge of ITIL processes
- strong technical documentation skills
