- prepare and set up production - get moulds and mixes ready for efficient runs
- optimise production - oversee processes, troubleshoot issues, and improve efficiency
- ensure product quality - monitor products, maintain standards, and take corrective action
- problem-solve - identify challenges, suggest solutions and take corrective action
- document procedures - help create and maintain standard operating guidelines
- we are on the lookout for a Production Technician to join our construction technology start-up based in Cambridge, UK
- support Health & Safety - follow best practice and contribute to risk assessments
- coordinate across teams - work with different teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- experience in manufacturing or industrial production
- experience following and optimising manufacturing and production processes
- early-stage production process development and process up-scaling would be a plus
- familiarity working in a production setting requiring high levels of care, quality checking and assurance
- experience developing and/or following Standard Operating Procedures
- familiarity with COSHH and Health & Safety regulations
- able to follow procedures accurately and consistently
- strong practical skills. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools. You enjoy doing DIY in your free time, and take pleasure in getting stuff done
