- COTC Level 4 in waste management and continuing competency an advantage but not essential
- knowledge of the site permit, conditions and reporting requirements
- operators Licences for Loading Shovel & Materials Handler, with experience of Shredding Equipment an advantage
- knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage
- knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
- knowledge of record keeping system
- knowledge of weighbridge system
- knowledge of ISO
Responsibility
- to manage a newly constructed materials reprocessing facility in the centre of Hull, processing the local authorities waste into a suitable RDF product
- as Site Manager, you will be fully responsible for all aspects of the facility including Health Safety and Environmental Compliance, product quality, and front-line customer facing and regulatory contacts
- the Site Manager will play the lead role in operating and maintaining the plant and equipment, planning production to match commercial demands, and work within agreed budgetary requirements
- ensure site staff and contractors abide by the systems and procedures set out by the company
- perform related duties and responsibilities as required
- advise higher management of any on-going site issues
