Responsibility

  • conducting processes and procedures across a wide range of UK Biocentre projects
  • complying with procedures
  • adhering to quality standards
  • complying with ISO documentation and procedures
  • complying with Health and Safety documentation and procedures
  • maintaining the cleanliness of the laboratory, including regular cleaning rota
  • operating and maintaining equipment
  • updating the NIHR UKBC Laboratory Information Management Systems

Requirements

  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to work to deadlines
  • 2 A’ levels ; to include a science subject
  • the ability to listen and clearly demonstrate understanding of ideas and instructions
  • the ability to plan, organise and control a number of different activities
  • setting and maintaining high standards for self
  • ensuring the required high-quality standards are consistently met
  • the ability to work unsupervised, follow process and adhere to SOPs
