Requirements

  • A science degree in an appropriate subject e.g. immunology, microbiology, biochemistry
  • biomedical science, etc
  • experience of working in a scientific commercial sales role
  • knowledge and experience of technical sales and managing key accounts for customers in medical environments in the UK
  • knowledge and experience of working with, and/or submitting tenders and quotes to customers
  • knowledge of the NHS procurement systems and staffing structure within specific departments
  • knowledge of order processing and financial IT systems
  • knowledge and experience of automation in the in vitro diagnostics field

Responsibility

  • increase Company Turnover: Secure new commercial accounts and meet the sales targets set by the company
  • facilitate Business Development: Drive profitable and sustainable growth in business revenues
  • conduct Market Research: Continuously research the market, providing feedback to identify and act upon new trends and opportunities
  • source New Products and Services: Identify and pursue viable prospects to expand our product and service offerings
  • manage and Maintain Company LinkedIn Profile: Enhance our LinkedIn presence to generate opportunities and foster B2B connections
  • research and Apply for Grant Funding: Identify and pursue grant opportunities to support and drive business growth
