maintenance manager

Requirements

  • able to work unsupervised, organise own workload and operate in a multi-site environment
  • experienced in remote management of contractors and external suppliers
  • excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
  • able to measure, quantify and cost room conversion projects
  • attention to detail, organised and practical, with a common sense and commercial approach
  • able to carry out small repairs and maintenance work at our stores and small room conversion projects
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • confident in dealing with contractors and staff at all levels of an organisation

Responsibility

  • also identify and manage any associated works, i.e
  • security, fire alarms, intruder alarms
  • to liaise with the Facilities Manager, Helpdesk Co-ordinators and external suppliers with regard to carrying out minor works and makeover projects
  • to carry out small repairs and maintenance works at stores to ensure customer service levels are maintained
  • to visit stores and prepare plans and schedules for minor works and makeover projects, obtain costings from external suppliers, project manage delivery of the works
  • to procure materials and equipment required for carrying out the various projects
  • to reconcile and approve invoices for the various projects
  • use the Ostara CAFM portal to raise associated quotes and work orders, proactively tracking the spend against budget for all projects
