Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- work with business sponsors to articulate outcomes, shape programmes and influence business cases
- lead the definition and planning of the activity to deliver the business case outcomes
- provide strong leadership to motivate and inspire multi-function teams to collaborate and achieve best results for our customers and the business
- proactively monitor and report progress against plans, budgets and benefits; ensuring that outcomes remain aligned to strategic objectives
- identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring timely intervention to resolve or avoid issues
- set-up and actively manage third party suppliers against an agreed budget and scope
- present updates and facilitate key decisions at Steering Groups and Executive meetings
- be a key member of the Programme and Portfolio team to role model and drive improvement and learning
Requirements
- extensive experience of project management methodologies
- strong ability to translate business intent into delivery
- gains trust and support of stakeholders of all levels
- able to synthesise large amounts of information, extracting key messages and communicating effectively to all levels
- drives action and challenges constructively without losing trust and support
- experience of managing third-party delivery and suppliers
- experience of managing projects to deliver joint outcomes with external business partners
- broad understanding of personal lines insurance
