Working hours
- part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- lead on individual and group activities within the home’s person-centred care approach involving other team members to support with these
- you will be organising key events throughout the year, such as the summer fete, seasonal celebrations, and charity events
- to stay on top of local activity opportunities, birthdays, and anniversaries to make these days special for our residents
- encourage and support local volunteers whose contact will be beneficial for our residents
- put together weekly planners and monthly events for our residents to access- these will be shared with families
- to empower our residents and to create an enjoyable and social environment where we strive to make a difference in their day-to-day life
- to write person centred notes for residents and take pictures to share with friends and families
- manage your own activities budget monthly
Requirements
- experience in a role similar is desirable
- can you lead the team to ensure that the whole home gets involved with activities?
- do you have good IT skills so that weekly/monthly planners and events can be displayed for our residents to see?
- are you enthusiastic and creative? Can you think outside the box when it comes to delivering excellent experiences to our residents?
