Responsibility

  • handle the preparation of ingredients for baking, including measuring and mixing
  • we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic baker to join our team
  • operate ovens and other commercial kitchen equipment
  • help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the bakery area
  • follow food safety guidelines to ensure all products are safe for consumption
  • handle the inventory management, including tracking supplies and placing orders as needed
  • ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health standards
  • in this role, you will be in charge of the daily operations of our bakery, handling the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods

Requirements

  • previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred
  • food Safety and Hygiene Certificate Level 2
  • skilled and experienced in baking Nigerian special breads most especially Agege bread
  • familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to details
  • strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • A passion for baking and willingness to learn new skills in food production
  • artisan baking skills
