Responsibility
- assist with reviewing current measures to ensure compliance with affordability and safer gambling policy requirements
- working with the business on remedial action plans and keeping all involved parties informed regarding progress
- assist in conducting affiliate marketing KYC checks and ongoing audits
- assist in embedding an improved compliance culture and safer gambling philosophy throughout the business
- assist with the development of guidelines, interpretations and operational advice on possible day to day activities impacting on the companies affordability, safer gambling and compliance systems and processes
- conducting affordability, safer gambling and enhanced due diligence checks on customers that flag as higher risk, producing reports and documenting decision making where necessary
- conduct ongoing monitoring of customers from an AML perspective, ensuring any higher risk customers are identified and reviewed
- work with the Chief Compliance Officer to set department direction and develop appropriate policies and processes to ensure licence conditions are met
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- knowledge or experience in a compliance led role
- previous experience working within the online gambling industry
- excellent written and spoken communication skills
- track record of developing UKGC policies and procedures
- strong teamwork, planning and coordination skills
- knowledge of the UK Gambling Act and the Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice
- ability to work independently and proactively
- understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk mitigation strategies
