Responsibility
- your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- to be the champion for all H&S matters on site
- to develop H&S strategies and policies
- to carry out site inspections and review the effectiveness of the H&S Management system identifying areas of improvement
- create, review, and train out risk assessments
- to ensure the company H&S policies and processes are implemented and carried out and across all sites, as well as keeping up to date with regulatory changes accordingly
- standard Operation Procedures and SSOW to be developed and reviewed
- review, develop and monitor training
Requirements
- the candidate would ideally have a NEBOSH general certification or working towards one, with IOSH as a minimum
- it is desirable that you have experience in a Health & Safety manufacturing role
- experience in creating, maintaining, and updating H&S Management Systems & processes
- up to date knowledge of current regulatory requirements
- full Driving Licence
- H&S in Manufacturing: 1 year
- strong communications skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly demonstrate and convey concepts to staff on various levels
