Responsibility
- independently create full design concepts for projects based on Principal’s design vision
- involved in all aspects of a project including preparing concept and drawing packages as well as installation and beyond
- general research and all sourcing
- responsible for producing drawing packages , bespoke joinery design, choosing finishes and carrying out quality control on all finishes
- prepare for client presentations by creating mood boards, floorplans, drawings and elevations
- building and maintaining supplier and trade relationships
- follow up with vendors on lead times and quotes
- assisting in specifying FF&E as part of a team
Requirements
- degree in interior design, design school or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of design experience
- possess the right to work in the UK
- ability to develop floorplans and elevations
- hold a degree in interior architecture and interior design
- proficient at navigating showrooms, obtaining pricing, reserves, also must have knowledge of other trade resources and vendors
- proven experience in working through all stages of the design process for luxury private residential projects
- experience selecting and specifying lighting, furnishings, hardware, floor/window coverings, materials and finishes
