Responsibility
- we are looking for someone to join our small, friendly team - the Berwick Lodge ‘family’
- berwick Lodge is an independent luxury hotel with 18 acres of gardens on the outskirts of Bristol, 10 minutes from Clifton
- access to a car is required due to the rural location
- work to produce high quality food for customers and deliver culinary excellence
- liaise with other members of the kitchen team and work to support them
- monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering various produce relevant to your section
- ensure your mis en place is completed to the required standard
- to observe health and safety requirements including reporting hazards
Requirements
- to liaise with the sous and head chefs and support them as necessary
- to monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section
- to ensure minimum kitchen wastage
- to ensure knowledge of the product is maintained and communicated to all relevant personnel
- to be responsible for completing your mis en place
- to learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the team
- to report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef immediately
- to comply with all Berwick policies and procedures to ensure that all statutory regulations are observed
