Working hours
- part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- you’ll greet customers, seat them, take orders and deliver food and drinks, ensuring they are delighted at every stage
- you’ll carefully prepare drinks orders, using the correct technique and glassware while minimising waste. You’ll work deliveries and restock the bar
- you’ll communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service, and liaise with delivery drivers for takeaway orders
- teamwork and utmost respect for your colleagues is essential, contributing to a supportive and friendly environment
- you’ll need to work quickly, cleanly and thoroughly, upholding quality, health and safety standards. You’ll contribute to cleaning the public rooms, bar and kitchen
Requirements
- A friendly, welcoming manner and an interest in food and drink
- experience working in a pub or restaurant is helpful but not essential
- must be over 16
- you should have good availability throughout the summer
- you must be available most Friday and Saturday evenings
- shifts commonly start around 5pm and finish 11-12pm, you should be available for these hours
