Responsibility
- information take off from enquiries, including gathering project information , product information, and clarifying queries with customers where necessary
- creating quotations using templates and ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- collaborating with the project management team on handover and cost tracking to ensure smooth project execution
- creation of leads through various channels such as Barbour ABI, phone, etc
- qualifying leads and incoming enquiries by gathering the 5Ws information
- maintaining a schedule of enquiries and keeping track of all enquiries from lead stage through to follow-up stage, ensuring that quotations are returned on time
- collaborating with the purchasing team to collect pricing from suppliers, updating standard pricing on templates, and collecting rates for bespoke items
Requirements
- good communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams effectively
- experience in the construction industry and familiarity with reading drawings
- estimating experience, including creating and managing quotations
- strong attention to detail to ensure accurate quotations and pricing
- strong customer service skills and experience in speaking to customers
- time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- experience or practical knowledge in fitted furniture, sheet materials and manufacturing
- adaptable, flexible, and able to take initiative in a dynamic work environment
