production supervisor
Responsibility
- support the Production Manager to ensure production plan are achieved within the agreed timeframe
- manage and motivate a team of machine controllers and operative
- monitor performance, review training needs, manage attendance (absence / holiday on a daily basis, carry out annual appraisals
- review operation efficiencies ensuring tracking and reporting of downtime, and assist the development of action based solutions to reduce such occurrences
- ensure that the Operations team conform to all business Technical standards and specifications, as laid out in the HACCP Quality Manual
- support the Production Manager to ensure all documentation is completed accurately
- effectively communicate with departments to ensure efficient workflow
- monitor stock levels ensuring traceability is adhered to
Requirements
- experience of supervision in an FMCG environment essential
- strong leadership and staff management skills essential
- H&S/Food Safety systems & legislation ; Able to ensure a safe working environment
- able to ensure manufacturing meets required quality standards
- able to use widespread functions within relevant software
- the correct person will support drive our company values
