Responsibility

  • maintain a constant relationship with the sales, marketing, finance, sourcing and manufacturing teams to understand the demand forecasting drivers
  • generating timely demand forecasts and presenting them for review, validation and refinement with the Key Stakeholders
  • improve the forecasts accuracy through your actions and updates of the Supply Chain Planning tool and processes
  • communicate the product inventory strategies to the Supply Planning team
  • tune the forecasts and inventory rules and assumptions according to the demand and market trends
  • propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
  • address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
  • report and analyse forecast accuracy or variance, and identify and raise areas of concern
