Responsibility

  • facilitate socialising and provide a variety of activities that cater for all interests, preferences and hobbies
  • to oversee, organise and manage all activities within the home and community centre
  • promote the Company and the activity programme to the community and outside professionals
  • ensuring that any risk assessments have been carried out prior to any new planned activity or event
  • encourage and motivate staff members to participate in home activities
  • devising simple and
  • help to create an atmosphere that suits individual Service Users within the Home
  • plan and deliver weekly, monthly and seasonal activities that meet the needs of both collective groups of Service Users and individuals, monthly rolling / individual programmes, and encourage the residents to maintain pre-existing hobbies
