Responsibility

  • CNC Turning Centre Operator
  • we primarily manufacture small to medium batch work
  • bedford Engineering is a subcontract precision engineering company based in Stockport just off the M60, we have recently moved premises and looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to help fill the hole our recent expansion has created

Requirements

  • operating CNC Lathes
  • programming
  • machining a variety of materials, Mild Steel, Aluminium, Stainless Steels, Plastic's, Brass, Bronze
  • turning metals to tight tolerances
  • experience of machining components supplied to the Oil & Gas and Aerospace Industry standards
  • reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • time served Engineer
  • programming, setting and operating CNC Turning Centres for one off components and batch runs
