- develop and implement a regular UK-wide communications cadence
- foster a culture of employee engagement and investment
- analyse under-performing projects, agreeing corrective action with local managers, and with the Regional Director as required, and implement the proposals
- pro-actively review operational efficiencies of all business units and act where necessary to improve efficiencies or drive growth
- in partnership with the Project Control team, develop best practice for project management and ensure that projects adhere to these guidelines
- identify any additional services needed in country to reach full turnkey capability and develop these with local managers
- implement the business strategies agreed by the Senior Leadership Team and Regional Managing Director and support the local team to deliver successful operations
- review and develop operational procedures and support engineers in the implementation of such practices
Requirements
- experience & Qualifications Essential
- outstanding operational and project management skills with a proven track record of profitable success of major projects
- exceptional leadership and people skills with ability to build employee engagement
- strong focus on customer service and health and safety
- demonstrable business growth
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- proven leader with experience of heading up a business as an operational general manager or other senior role in an engineering, manufacturing or construction services organisation; with full accountability for P & L
- desirable
