Responsibility

  • we are seeking a Senior Carer/Team Leader to join our family run care home
  • this position requires a hard working individual with a strong background in caregiving and team leadership
  • must be able to dispense medications to our residents under supervision from a nurse-in-charge
  • maintain accurate records of medication dispensing, including dosage and administration times
  • monitor medication supplies, and ensure proper storage and handling
  • the Senior Carer/Team leader will lead a team of carers, and work alongside a nurse-in-charge. They will be a vital point of contact for residents and their families

Requirements

  • 2-3 years previous experience as a carer or a similar role in the care sector
  • must have at least NVQ2, or preferably NVQ3
  • proficient in dispensing medication and knowledge of medication safety protocols
  • providing care: 2 years
