  • take ownership of short-term projects within the research and development team
  • be hands-on collecting data from a variety of sources and producing high quality reports in a timely manner
  • evaluate and compare alternative suppliers, competitors’ materials and current materials reporting outcomes to relevant management
  • apply a range of analysis techniques within finings trials, yeast health monitoring, fermentation profiling and ABV testing
  • support Engineering Project Management through the provision of lab / scientific support contributing to the assessment of the effectiveness of process changes across the company
  • carry out brewing trials on small scale equipment collecting data for a range of purposes such as marketing materials, energy usage and recipe reformulation
