BEACON EVENTS is looking for employees for positions:

business development manager

Responsibility

  • to Deliver revenue and meet sales targets within the mining sales team split
  • write, monitor and report progress of the planning and execution of the Sales Plan against agreed Revenue Targets
  • identify new opportunities and follow them through to conclusion by engaging with these targets on a daily basis
  • build, manage and maintain relationships with key customers in the market
  • ensure all accounts have clear understanding of pricing structure, key benefits and new initiatives
  • establish relationships with mining corporates in the EMEA region, ensure they are well managed and have an understanding of all of our events within the portfolio
  • gain a clear understanding of the competitor landscape
  • working with the after sales team and concierge to ensure your clients are well prepared for each event and paid prior to the event

Requirements

  • minimum 7 years’ experience in event sales or investor relations highly regarded
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues and customers
  • driven, proactive and self-managed approach to working life
  • experience of working in a target driven and competitive environment essential
