Responsibility
- BD Marine, a well-established marine engineering firm have a requirement for a CNC machinist, based at our workshop in Southampton
- our day-to-day operations are short production runs and one-offs
- this role involves programming, setting and operating with the Prototrak control
- the right candidate will be able to work under their own initiative
- this is a very interesting role for the right candidate
- we are adding to our team and currently have a vacancy for a machinist to run our XYZ SMX 4000 mill
- there may also be an opportunity to operate/learn our XYZ SLX425 Lathe , and our Colchester Harrison Alpha 1400XR although this is not a requirement of the position
