Requirements

  • AAT qualification desirable
  • minimum of 5 years of practical accounting work, including 3 years with responsibility for all accounts preparation with minimal supervision. Must also be experienced with Sage's stock control system

Responsibility

  • performs bookkeeping duties, including data entry, bank deposits, & reconciliations, accounts payable and other client payments
  • maintains Sage 50 accounting system, including stock management
  • produce cash flow forecasts as required
  • maintains sales ledger, including credit control and contacting customers as required
  • support other team members in processing sales and purchase orders
  • produces monthly management reports
  • produce payroll reports
  • prepares and submits VAT returns
