Responsibility
the hotel also has 2 restaurants, an evening a la carte and a restaurant for our coach groups
duties will include assisting in the ordering, preparation and cooking of the menu
follow Food Safety guidelines with regards to records, storage and temperature control
previous experience as a Commis Chef or any other similar roles, ideally from a hotel/restaurant background
we are looking to recruit a breakfast/commis chef for the hotel. Breakfast is served buffet style and there are typically between around 50 - 60 guests for breakfast each day
A good understanding of food safety, qualified to NVQ level 2 Food Hygiene
part of the role of breakfast chef will be to assist in the preparation for the evening menu for both of these restaurants, and shifts are available to serve these guests in the evening
excellent communication skills in all aspects
