Responsibility
- the role of the Purchase Ledger Clerk is suitable for someone with previous purchase ledger/accounts administration experience
- processing purchase invoices
- assisting in preparation of monthly and weekly payment runs
- with their Headquarters based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, and a network of partners across Europe, North America, Australasia, Asia and South Africa, my client is a privately owned company employing approximately one hundred people
- managing credit card expenses
- they operate as a market leader in an exciting niche sector and are experiencing sustained growth across the company year on year
- managing petty cash expenses
- as a result my client is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar finance administrative role
- experienced in the use of Sage 50 accounts
- competent in using MS Office applications
- capable of carrying out supplier/bank/petty cash reconciliations
- effective communication skills
- ability to work to deadlines
