Responsibility
- the role will be based in Seed
- we are looking for an office administration to join our team for 10 to 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave supporting with all aspects of daily administration
- this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of an agricultural business and gain a better understanding of UK farming, food production as well as providing an introduction to commodities trading
- our seed team are working with UK cereal crop growers to source and buy agricultural combinable seed crops as well as environmental mixes, maize, grasses and game cover crops which will be made ready for planting then sold and transported to our farmer customers to be grown into commercial crops
- to be an integral part of the food chain connecting growers with UK and European consumers, adopting new technologies and always striving for sustainable food security
- assist with general office duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- undertake other administrative tasks to help support the department as required
- resolving customer enquiries as they arise and escalating matters through to completion
