Responsibility
- undertake steel and aluminium welding and fabrication work using hand tools
- fit and repair a variety of vehicle sheeting systems
- operate press-brake, guillotine and cutting saws
- responsible for taking measurements and making mathematic calculations for raw materials and repairs
- assist in preparation of customer job quotes through visual vehicle inspection
- expected to work on your own and in a small team to complete tasks in a timely manner
- ability to problem solve and use own initiative to work through practical solutions
- accurate completion of written work records
Requirements
- 2 years fabrication and welding experience
- previous experience working with trucks and tipper vehicles is preferred
- experience in aluminium welding is desirable
- A valid HGV licence is desirable
- welding: 2 years
