Responsibility
- to work extremely closely with the CEO and advise them on financial strategy, planning, and control matters
- to determine the financial requirements of Barnsley Civic’s Strategic Plan and Business Plan
- to lead the preparation of annual revenue and capital budgets and financial forecasts
- to work closely with the Chair and members of the Finance and Audit Committee
- to liaise with Barnsley Civic’s external auditors and oversee statutory account production
- attend all Board meetings and prepare and present quarterly figures for Trustees to read before each meeting
- to oversee and deliver the Reserves Policy
- to ensure that statutory and regulatory financial returns are completed on time
