Responsibility

  • barker & Bland Ltd are looking to recruit experienced Site Supervisors, leading our specialist peatland restoration projects
  • you will be operating 8.5 tonne 360 excavators and specially modified dumpers
  • restoration includes grading, re-profiling and re-turfing of exposed peat, and drain blocking
  • experience of working on a peatbog is an advantage but not essential
  • you will be fully engaged in the promotion of safety on site.You will be expected to record your work using GIS, which involves walking the ground

Requirements

  • permanent employed position
  • willing to work away for 2 week periods
  • full, clean driving license
  • CPCS / NPORS 360 above and below 10 tonnes useful
  • other tickets useful
  • excavator Operator: 5 years
  • excavator Operator: 1 year
