Responsibility

  • administer and manage equity share plans, including the tracking and vesting of shares and the calculation of related payroll deductions
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee files
  • ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax and employment laws, in all international locations
  • collaborate with the HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and improve processes and systems
  • prepare reports and analyses as needed, including payroll budgets and variance reports
  • stay informed about developments in payroll laws and best practices, and provide recommendations for updates and improvements to management
  • manage the payroll process for all international locations, including calculating and processing employee salaries and benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate payment
  • ensure all starter and leaver paperwork is processed in a timely manner, depending on local requirements

Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • extensive experience in payroll management, preferably in a startup or fast-growing business
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with payroll software and systems, including experience with equity share plans
  • knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including tax and employment laws, in multiple international locations

Responsibility

  • set the vision and strategy for your squad, whilst defining and driving success
  • define, maintain and evangelise the product roadmap and backlog
  • contribute to efficient outcome-centric delivery through clear scoping and diligent discovery and prioritisation

  • driven, ambitious and keen to grow with the company
  • proven track record as a product manager working on backend services and/or data products in a fast-paced and successful online business
