payroll manager
Responsibility
- administer and manage equity share plans, including the tracking and vesting of shares and the calculation of related payroll deductions
- maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee files
- ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax and employment laws, in all international locations
- collaborate with the HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and improve processes and systems
- prepare reports and analyses as needed, including payroll budgets and variance reports
- stay informed about developments in payroll laws and best practices, and provide recommendations for updates and improvements to management
- manage the payroll process for all international locations, including calculating and processing employee salaries and benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate payment
- ensure all starter and leaver paperwork is processed in a timely manner, depending on local requirements
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- extensive experience in payroll management, preferably in a startup or fast-growing business
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency with payroll software and systems, including experience with equity share plans
- knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including tax and employment laws, in multiple international locations
