administer and manage equity share plans, including the tracking and vesting of shares and the calculation of related payroll deductions
maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee files
ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax and employment laws, in all international locations
collaborate with the HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and improve processes and systems
prepare reports and analyses as needed, including payroll budgets and variance reports
stay informed about developments in payroll laws and best practices, and provide recommendations for updates and improvements to management
manage the payroll process for all international locations, including calculating and processing employee salaries and benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate payment
ensure all starter and leaver paperwork is processed in a timely manner, depending on local requirements
Requirements
bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
extensive experience in payroll management, preferably in a startup or fast-growing business
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
proficiency with payroll software and systems, including experience with equity share plans
knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including tax and employment laws, in multiple international locations
