Requirements

  • apprentice trained desirable
  • PC Literate
  • working with or building rotating actuated linear machinery
  • willingness to work overtime to meet our customer needs
  • experience of building high speed machinery/machine tool build
  • honest, punctual
  • experience in a fitting or mechanical assembly/machine build role is desirable but not essential
  • health & Safety focused

Responsibility

  • using and maintaining specialised machines and tools such as Lathes, Millers, Micrometres and Verniers
  • mechanical Fitting & assembly of ballscrews to instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • disassembly, refurbishment, and re-assembly of used ballscrews to a high standard at all times so they are ready for site installation
  • assist in machine/fabrications/raw material loading and unloading and anything necessary to help in the workshop
  • working to tight tolerances
  • ensuring build and customer documentation is thoroughly completed and compliant with company procedures
  • reading and interpreting job profiles for successful completion
  • coordinating with the colleagues at all levels for efficient completion of each job profile
