Responsibility
- produce plans for the team to achieve goals/aspirations
- accountable for KPI’s in line with project objectives and monitor performance
- ensure all work is undertaken with a view towards handover and certification
- monitor progress and implement Short Interval Control processes/hold weekly meeting
- ensure that expenditure is in line with the budget and that resources are utilised efficiently to ensure cost control
- prepare and present both internal/external reports and liaise with stakeholders
- ensure the team maintains accurate project records
- manage subcontractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress, providing direct instruction and support as necessary, such that contractual arrangements are achieved
Requirements
- established Project Management experience on similar projects
- ideally have a previous background as Project Engineer
- previous Substation experience
- previous experience working with UK Power legislations
- experienced working with construction teams throughout the design development phase of project
- formal qualification in project management or equivalent experience
- valid CSCS and SMSTS
- proficient in commercial/project management communications
