- our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment is seeking a General Maintenance and Estate Manager
- to ensure the business maintains its accreditations by ensuring all departments are adhering to and are familiar with relevant policies, procedures, and documentation
- ensure all requirements under LOLER and PUWER requirements are met with regards to equipment, Oven and Spray booths – Serviced Yearly
- maintain acceptable housekeeping standards internally and externally at both locations within your control
- management of all internal/external building projects and facilities upgrades
- support insurance audits and ensure any actions raised are closed out within required timelines
- security of the sites, including being the out of hours alarm contact and key holder. Monitoring of in-house CCTV

Requirements
- proven success of working within an operational manufacturing environment is essential
- strong knowledge of property maintenance & improvement
- outstanding multitasking, organisational and trouble shooting skills
- excellent attention to detail
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers/contractors to resolve issues in a proactive and positive manner
- ideally experience of working within a continuous improvement environment
- 3 years + experience of working in a similar position is essential
- LOLER & PUWER qualifications essential
