Responsibility
- maintain accurate records in line with policies and procedures
- ensure the implementation of all policies and procedures with reference to Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity and Confidentiality
- liaise with other professionals, internally and externally to ensure good continuity of quality of care
- provide effective hand-over, information sharing, updates with individual client's social workers / personal advisors
- attend professional meetings relating to Back on Track Accommodation clients as required
- maintain own Personal Development Plan and be committed to continued professional development
- maintain cleanness and general upkeep of the premises
Requirements
- level 3 or above Health & Social Care / Children & Young People or equivalent
- excellent written, recording, and verbal communication skills
- positive attitude and initiative to provide practical and flexible problem solving
- excellent emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours, ability to set firm and consistent boundaries and manage conflict constructively
- excellent observational and listening skills
- understanding of safeguarding and Child Protection
- you will be flexible, have excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- you will have excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation in respect of children and young people
